Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of this website and its APIs, downloads, tools, member services and related content and functionality (collectively, the “Site”). The Site is the property of Ontario Oil, Gas & Salt Resources Corporation (“OGSRC”). By accessing or using the Site, you accept these terms and conditions. These terms were last revised on July 30, 2026.

The contents of the Site are owned by and copyrighted by OGSRC and its suppliers and may contain trademarks of OGSRC or others. You may print or copy portions of the Site for your own use only, provided that all copyright and trademark notices remain intact. Unauthorized use may violate copyright, trademark and other laws.

Unless expressly authorized by OGSRC in writing, you must not use bots, scripts, scrapers, unauthorized API calls, artificial intelligence systems or other automated means to access, collect, extract, download or process Site content or data. You must not perform bulk extraction; republish, distribute, sell or resell Site content or data; share accounts or credentials; or bypass or circumvent access controls, usage restrictions or security measures. This restriction does not prohibit the use of functionality expressly provided by OGSRC for that purpose.

OGSRC may monitor use of the Site and apply rate, volume or other access limits. OGSRC may restrict access or temporarily suspend or permanently terminate an account where it reasonably believes these terms, access limits or security measures have been violated.

OGSRC uses reasonable safeguards to protect notes, projects and other user-created or saved data. However, OGSRC does not guarantee the security, availability, integrity or recovery of that data and is not responsible for unauthorized access, theft, corruption, deletion or loss. Users are responsible for maintaining independent copies using the export functions made available through the Site.

While OGSRC uses reasonable efforts to maintain the Site in an up-to-date fashion, it does not warrant the completeness, timeliness or accuracy of any information contained on the Site and may make changes at any time without notice. All information is provided “as is.”

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither OGSRC nor any third party mentioned on the Site shall be liable for any damages whatsoever, including direct, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data or business interruption, resulting from the use or inability to use the Site or its content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory and whether or not advised of the possibility of such damages.

OGSRC disclaims all warranties and conditions, express or implied, respecting any information or services provided through the Site, including implied warranties or conditions of fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and noninfringement. You agree to indemnify OGSRC for damages it may suffer resulting from your use of the Site or breach of these terms.

The Site and these terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada, excluding conflict-of-law provisions and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Any legal action against OGSRC shall take place in the courts of Ontario. The parties attorn to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

You may link to pages or resources on the Site, provided the link is not misleading and does not imply sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation with OGSRC. You may not frame the Site, present Site content as your own, or use links to bypass access controls or other security measures. Third-party sites linked from the Site are not under OGSRC’s control. OGSRC is not responsible for their content, links, changes or policies. Links are provided as a convenience and do not imply endorsement.

To the extent that OGSRC collects information from users through cookies, information actively provided by users, Site activity or its web-hosting services, OGSRC uses that information for its own purposes. Such information is not knowingly provided to third parties and will not be divulged unless required by competent authorities.

The Site provides general information about OGSRC and may also permit users to purchase or request products and services from OGSRC. Any such transaction is governed by the terms presented with the applicable product, service, order form or checkout.

For purposes of these terms, “Annual Access” (sometimes described on the Site as a “membership”) means a paid, time-limited subscription to the Library data, online services and facility access included in the selected plan. “Individual” and “Corporate” describe access-plan and customer-account types only. Annual Access does not confer any share, security, ownership or equity interest in OGSRC or the Oil, Gas & Salt Resources Trust, or any voting, governance, profit-sharing or distribution rights.

Nothing on the Site constitutes an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any securities of OGSRC.
